A Spirited Religious-Zionist Community
Located in the western Negev on Israel’s border with Egypt and Gaza. Naveh was founded in 2005 by a small group of 15 families who were uprooted from their homes in Gush Katif as part of the Israeli government’s Disengagement Plan. After the painful uprooting of their home in Gush Katif, these pioneers continued to pursue their Zionist vision to establish a community that would serve as a catalyst for growth to the entire Negev.
Today, Naveh is part of Halutza, a new community area that includes Shlomit and Bnei Netzarim. From a small nucleus of pioneers, Naveh has expanded into a thriving religious Zionist community with over 130 families with over 600 children. And all of this is just the beginning!
